Who Is Lester Kitching?

If you’re wondering who I am and why I teach fat loss this way, here’s the short version of my story.

I started coaching back in 2014, helping everyday people lose fat, feel more confident, and escape the all-or-nothing cycle.

But everything shifted for me when I became a dad in 2022. I now had a life full of real responsibilities, and I quickly realised the fitness advice I’d grown up with – perfect routines, strict meal plans, training 6 times a week – simply didn’t fit real life anymore. And it definitely wasn’t the example I wanted to set for my kids.

That’s when I rebuilt my entire approach. I wanted a way of living that gave me energy, not exhaustion… that kept me healthy without obsession… and that modelled a positive, balanced relationship with food and exercise for my daughter and son.

The result is a simple, stress-free, flexible approach to fat loss designed for busy parents and professionals who want results without sacrificing family time, energy, or sanity.

My belief is simple: you don’t need perfection to make progress – you just need a plan that works on your busy days, not just the good ones.

That’s what I’ve written my book Fat Loss For The Real World about, and what I will share with you at this educational workshop.

Where is the workshop?

The workshops are held at Active Body Conditioning (ABC), Cheltenham Road, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 2QQ (located behind B&Q on Portrack Lane).

There will be lots of free parking available right outside ABC. The parking  spaces are also for other businesses but on Sunday afternoon/evening, they will be closed so you can park anywhere.

The workshop will last around 90 minutes, but will be very interactive. It won’t be me teaching the entire time, so ask questions, share your experiences, and it’ll make it a great workshop.

You don’t need to bring anything. Just wear something comfortable and warm (the gym might be a little chilly during the winter months). 

Everything else is taken care of. Just show up, have fun, be open to learning something that could genuinely change how you approach fat loss from this point forward.

No – absolutely not.  This is NOT an exercise class, and you won’t be asked to do anything physical. It’s a relaxed, educational workshop where you’ll be sitting comfortably, learning, creating your own fat loss plan, and having a lot of “aha” moments.

I’ve worked with lots of people who feel like they’ve tried everything. And if you have tried a lot of things, that’s actually something we can turn into a positive. Even though the previous attempts may not have delivered long term results, you’ll know what things you enjoy, and what things you find difficult. This means we can tailor your strategy around you, and set you up for success.
